New fave daily green juice

I'm sad to say that I'm off beets for a while. I know, beets are awesomely healthy, but I'm working on some pesky gut issues so I'm having to be even more restrictive than usual with my culinary wellness. No beets, sweet potatoes or fruit. For at least 1 month. Yikes. I got 2 weeks into this project and then went on vacay for 12 days. Needless to say, I fell off the wagon. Hard. I'm back home, picking myself up, and getting on with it. I've made some inevitable adjustments in the kitchen, including changing my daily green juice which was previously loaded with red beet lusciousness. My new juice is just as tasty as my old standby, and as fate would have it, much more appropriate for the hellish hot weather we're having in Fort Worth. This new potion is light and hydrating, and will detoxify you down to your toes. If juicing ginger and turmeric is new to you it's best to start with a smaller amount of the fresh roots and build up, the flavor can be quite potent. It goes without saying that you should look for organic ingredients for this and all of your green juices. Cheers!
