Any time my life gets out of balance, (like now because my workload is super intense), I get hardcore bouts of munchies. I used to turn to something sweet- chocolate, berries, etc- but that only spiked my insulin and made the munchie monster grow. Now I turn to something protein-packed like this little bowl of magic: almond butter sprinkled with hemp and chia. It satisfies the munchies and doesn't jack with my blood sugar. And most importantly, it's yummy noms!
