Fave Smoothie for meal replacement

Oatmeal Pineapple Smoothie (gluten free & vegan) 

1/3 cup dry gluten free oats (not cooked!)

8 ounces unsweetened coconut milk

4 dates, pitted

1/2 cup plain non-dairy yogurt (I used So Delicious Coconut Milk yogurt)

1 frozen banana

1/3 cup hemp hearts (aka hemp seeds)

1/2 cup fresh pineapple, chopped

1/2 cup fresh mango, chopped

Garnish: chopped mango and hemp hearts

  1. Place the oats in the blender and process until powdery.
  2. Add the coconut milk and the dates. Blend until well combined. This could take      several minutes depending on the power of your blender.
  3. Add remaining smoothie ingredients and blend until smooth.
  4. Top smoothie with mango and hemp.
